Steamed Beef Mince with Dong Cai( Preserved Cabbage) 

蒸冬菜牛肉饼

Ingredients 材料 :

  • 200g mince beef / 200克 牛肉碎
  • 2 tablespoon Dong Cai (preserved cabbage) / 2汤匙 冬菜
  • 4 water chestnuts, diced / 4颗 马蹄,切丁
  • 2  eggs / 2颗 鸡蛋
  • 2 tablespoon honey  / 2 汤匙 蜂蜜
  • light soy sauce, to taste / 生抽适量

Marinade 腌料 :

  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce / 1汤匙 生抽
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce / 1汤匙 耗油
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour / 1汤匙 玉米粉 
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar / 1/2 汤匙 糖
  • 60ml water / 60ml 清水
  • pepper, to taste / 胡椒适量
  • sesame oil, to taste / 麻油 适量 

Instruction 做法 :

  1. Soak the Dong Cai (preserved cabbage) in the salted water for about 10mins. Rinse and squeeze out excess water. Set aside.
  2. Stir and combine the beef, water chestnuts, Dong Cai (preserved cabbage) and the ingredients in marinade together towards one direction.
  3. Steam in a wok over high heat about 12mins, or until the beef is fully cooked.
  4. In the meantime, pan fry 2 eggs. Transfer them onto the beef. Drizzle light soy sauce as desired.
  5. Serve immediately with rice. 


  1. 将冬菜浸泡在盐水里约10分钟。沥干,挤出多余的水分,备用。
  2. 将牛肉碎,马蹄,冬菜以及腌料混合,朝同一方向搅拌。
  3. 将肉饼放入锅中,大火蒸约12分钟,或至肉饼熟透。
  4. 蒸制肉饼时,煎2颗荷包蛋。铺在蒸好的肉饼上,最后撒上生抽即可。
  5. 趁热上桌,搭配白米饭的最佳选择。
